Biography

Austrian freestyle wrestler Edwin Lins participated in the 1987 World Championships (ninth) and the 1988 European Championships (sixth). As a light-heavyweight wrestler he was eliminated in the preliminary rounds at the 1984 Los Angeles and 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics. Domestically, Lins wrestled with KSK Klaus and won several national titles. He died from cancer at the early age of 54.
