Biography

Alexander Neumüller was an Austrian Greco-Roman wrestler who participated at the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics. He was eliminated in the third round of the super-heavyweight division placing ninth eventually. Neumüller also participated in four World and four European Championships. In 1990 he finished an unfortunate fourth at the Worlds, which was his best international result.

After his active career, Neumüller worked as an Austrian police attaché in Georgia, co-supervising Azerbaijan, a resident twinning advisor in an EU-funded project in the Republic of North Macedonia, and as a security officer for the EU Advisory Mission in Ukraine. He then completed a master’s degree in forensic computing and internet investigation at the University in Dublin.
