In addition to his two Olympic silver medals, Arthur Lindfors was the Nordic light-heavyweight champion in 1919-20 and won the Finnish light-heavyweight title three times from 1918-20. By profession he was a baker and founder of the bakery firm AB Arthur Lindfors OY. He was also a board member of the Finnish Wrestling Federation, president of Porvoon Akilles, and a member of Porvoo city council, and also served as a wrestling referee.
