Biography
German Greco-Roman wrestler René Schiekel finished sixth at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics in the super-heavyweight class. Internationally, he was eighth at the 1995 World Championships, and fifth at the 1996 Europeans. Domestically, he won four national titles, in 1991, 1996, and 1999-2000.
