Enrico Castelli won four consecutive Italian titles with Olympia Borletti Milano (1936-39) and débuted with the Italian National team on 3 May 1936 in a friendly against Austria. He competed at the Berlin Olympics where the Azzurri placed seventh. In the match against Germany, the Azzurri scored 58 points, its best at Berlin. Castelli earned five international caps, scoring four points. After the war he was a member of the Italian Olympic Committee for the Italian Basketball Federation.
