Biography

Mariano Ciai competed in the Featherweight Class of Greco-Roman Wrestling in the 1912 Olympics. He was eliminated after losing his first two bouts by fall against Finnish opponents. His son Omero (1923-1945) was an Italian partisan leader, who was tortured and murdered as a POW.
