Biography
Oscar Verona wrestled freestyle as a light-heavyweight at the 1948 London Olympics. He was Italian Champion in 1946, 1948, and 1951-52. Verona wrestled once at the World Championships, finishing fifth in light-heavyweight freestyle in 1951. After failing to qualify for the 1952 Olympics, he retired in early 1953.
