Meinrad Ernst was a Swiss amateur wrestler who was active during the late 1950s and early 1960s. In 1960 Ernst was selected to compete in the freestyle featherweight event at the Roma Olympics. At the Games he first lost to József Kellermann (HUN) before losing to Vladimer Rubashvili (URS) to be eliminated. Ernst was 94-years-old when he died in October 2019.
