Biography

Branko Martinović had a very long wrestling career in Yugoslavia, competing for 28 years, with 14 of them spent on the national team. He won a gold medal in the 70 kg class at the 1963 Mediterranean Games. In addition to his two Olympic medals, won at Roma and Tokyo, Martinović won a bronze medal at the 1961 World Championships and 1966 European Championships.
