Biography

German sailor Sibylle Powarzynski participated at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, held at Savannah, Georgia, in the one-person Europe dinghy and finished sixth. At the German nationals, she won both a silver (1992) and bronze medal (1994). In 2020, she became president of the Bavarian Sailing Association, and by profession became a physician leading a private clinic in the Passau region.
