Matthias Adamczewski was a West German sailor who participated in the Soling class at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Partnered with Jens-Peter Wrede and Stefan Knabe, they finished 15th. The previous year the crew won the national title.
By profession, Adamczewski worked as a film producer, journalist and cameraman, and produced contributions for the North German Radio, and a film for the 2012 Olympic application by the city of Hamburg.
