Biography
West German sailor Hans-Friedrich Böse partnered Eckart Kaphengst in the multihull (tornado) event at the 1984 Long Beach Olympic sailing events. Both finished a disappointing 13th. Böse studied civil engineering and graduated as a hydraulic engineer. He then was employed by the German Sailing Federation, and later founded his own consulting company.
