Biography

Sailor Kai Falkenthal partnered Frank Butzmann in the German star boat at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, held at Savannah, Georgia, placing 10th. In 1991, he won the European Championships, partnering Alexander Hagen, and in 1994 they won the German title and a silver medal at the Europeans. One year earlier both earned bronze medals at the World Championships.
