Biography
While attending Waseda University, Norio Fujimura won the yacht race in the “Officer A Class” at the Tokyo Port Festival, which earned him the place on the Japanese team at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He was in Hiroshima when the atom bomb was dropped and may have died from the aftereffects.
