Biography
Franz Heilmeier finished an unfortunate fourth with the West German three-person keelboat in the Dragon class at the 1972 München Olympics, where the sailing events were held in Kiel. Heilmeier partnered with Konrad Glas and Richard Kuchler. The boat was from the Yachtclub Possenhofen. Heilmeier later became an avid golfer.
