Lisa Misipeka was an American Samoan weight thrower who competed at the 1996, 2000, and 2004 Olympics. She threw the shot in 1996 but competed in the hammer throw in 2000 and 2004. She never made a final at the Olympics, but Misipeka won a bronze medal in the hammer throw at the 1999 World Championships.
Misipeka attended the University of South Carolina, and was 1998 NCAA Champion in the hammer throw and won the 1998 indoor title in the weight throw. She was second in both of those events in 1997 and was an All-American in 1996 and 1997 in the shot put. She later became a track & field coach, first at Northern Arizona, then at Fresno State, and the University of Connecticut.
