Biography

Bob Grant attended Geelong College and then Scotch College, where he was an all-round sportsman, playing football from 1951-53, rowing with the eights in 1952-53, and competing in athletics, in both the javelin throw and relays. He trained as a teacher at Scotch College, and taught there from 1960-86, also serving during that time as the Secretary of the Association of Public Schools (APS). From 1987-93 Grant was first Development Officer of the Geelong College Foundation. He also worked in sports administration with the Geelong Rowing Association.
