Biography

Charles Morris competed at the 1956 Olympics in the hammer throw, finishing 19th in the qualifying round. He was sixth at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games, and fourth at that event in 1962. Morris was New South Wales (NSW) hammer throw champion from 1957-60, competing for the Navy club on the NSW south coast, Albatross, and later throwing for Ryde Hornsby. He was Australian champion in 1957-58.

Personal Best: HT – 59.89 (1962).
