Biography

Ian Sinfield was Australian marathon champion in 1960. In addition to his Olympic appearance, he ran the marathon at the 1962 Commonwealth Games, but failed to finish the race. His other top 10 finishes in the Australian national championships were fourth in 1962, 10th in 1967, and eighth in 1968.
