Sprinter Inge Aigner was Austrian champion at 100 metres (1964 and 1968), 200 metres (1964-65, 1967-68), 4×100 relay (1964), and 80 metres hurdles (1964-65, 1967-68). She was selected for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, where she reached the quarter-finals of the 100 and was eliminated in the heats of the 200 and 80 metres hurdles.
Four years later at Mexico City, Aigner reached the semi-finals of the hurdles. At the 1969 European Indoor Championships she came fourth with the 4x195 metres relay and ran in the heats of the 50 metres hurdles.
Personal Bests: 100 – 11.7 (1964); 200 – 24.3 (1965); 80H – 10.83 (1967).
