Athlete Ulrike Kleindl was Austrian champion in 4×100 relay (1987-89), 100 metres hurdles (1987, 1990-91), and long jump (1988-90). She participated in the long jump at the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics and was eliminated in the qualification round.
Kleindl was the mother of bobsleigher Katrin Beierl, who participated in the 2018 and 2022 Winter Games. Her other son, Henning, participated in the 2024 Youth Olympic Games, also as a bobsleigher.
