Léon Dupont was a Belgian track and field athlete who mainly competed in the high jump and long jump. Dupont was the Belgian record holder in the high jump from 1904 to 1921 and was the national champion in the event on four occasions (1905–07, 1909). At the 1906 Intercalated Games he won a silver medal in the standing high jump when he jumped 1.40 metres along with Martin Sheridan and Lawson Robertson. Dupont also competed in the standing long jump at the 1906 Games where he finished in fourth place. Two years later he competed in both the standing high jump and the high jump at the 1908 London Olympics, finishing 8th and 16th, respectively.
