Robert Nevens was a Belgian long-distance runner who represented RSC Anderlecht in Bruxelles. Nevens was selected to run in the marathon at the 1936 Berlin Olympics where he finished 24th. The following year he finished third at the Rotterdam Marathon in a time of 2:56.03. After the war he became the national champion in the marathon in 1946 on a 32km-long course from Etterbeek to Mechelen.
