Austrian Jürgen Koch was an Olympian badminton player at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics. He failed to reach the third round in the men’s singles. With his partner Hannes Fuchs he also failed to reach the third round in the men’s doubles.
Koch won 27 Austrian national titles, 14 singles (1990-91, 1995, 1997-2005, 2007-08), 12 doubles (1990-91, 1993-94, 1997, 1999-2002, 2009-11) and three mixed doubles (1997, 2009-10). His brother Harald Koch was also a successful national badminton player.
