Biography

In the 1920s and 1930s Brazilian long-distance runner Matheus Marcondes represented CA Paulistano in São Paulo. Marcondes won bronze in the marathon at the 1922 South American Championships in Athletics in Rio de Janeiro. In 1932 he was part of the Brazilian delegation at the Los Angeles Olympics where he ran in the marathon but did not finish the race.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-48:24 (1930).
