Nikola Hristov was a Bulgarian track and field athlete who competed in the shot put. During his career Hristov won five national titles (1976–78, 1980–81) and three indoor titles (1980–82). He had consistent performances at the Summer Universiade, winning silver in 1977 and bronze in 1979, and was a two-time gold medallist at the Balkan Championships (1976, 1978). With his strong performances at the national championships he competed at the 1980 Moskva Olympics but failed to advance from the qualification round.
