José Domingo Sánchez ran the 100 metres for Colombia at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. In 1932 he won the 100 at the Bolivarin National Olympiad, and in 1938 he won a silver medal in the 200 at the Bolivian Games. Sánchez became a professor of athletics at the Estadio Alfonso López of the National University of Colombia.
