Danish athlete Henrik Sørensen specialised in long-distance and cross-country running races. At the national athletics championships Sørensen won silver in the 10,000 metres in 1918 before winning gold in the 5,000 metres in 1921. At the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics he ran in the cross-country races, finishing 27th individually and seventh in the team event.
