Biography
Mario Novelli won three consecutive Italian titles with Olimpia Borletti Milano (1939-41). He competed at the Berlin Olympics where the Azzurri placed seventh. Novelli débuted in the match against the Philippines, losing 32-14, and was also present at the 1939 European championships where Italy finished sixth. Novelli earned 14 international caps, scoring 14 points.
