Biography

Toivo Ahjopalo was a Finnish track and field athlete who competed in sprint races. Ahjopalo ran in both the 100 metres and the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1936 Berlin Olympics but did not advance from the heats in either race. The year after the Olympics he won silver in the 100 and 200 metres at the Finnish national championships. He continued to compete at the national championships for the next decade, winning a bronze in the 200 metres (1938) and a silver in the 4 x 100 metres relay (1947).

Personal Best: 100 – 10.8 (1936).
