Lauri Eskola was a Finnish long-distance runner who represented Turun Urheiluliitto. In 1909 Eskola set a personal best time of 34:42.2 in the 10,000 metres before running the 5,000 metres in 16:.11.0 in 1912. At the 1912 Stockholm Olympics he was part of Finland’s cross-country team. Individually he finished in fourth place, with the Finns winning the silver medal in the team race.
