Biography

Paavo Liettu was a Finnish track and field athlete who represented Tampereen Pyrintö where he specialised in the javelin. At the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics Liettu finished in fourth place with a best throw of 63.86 metres. He won two medals at the Finnish athletics championships with a silver in 1928 and a bronze in 1931.
