Joseph Caullé ran the 800 metres at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, but did not get past the first round. He was 1909 French Champion in the 800. Caullé ran for the Métropolitain Club Colombes. During World War I he served with the 41st Colonial Régiment d’Infanterie. He was killed in action in Souchez, Pas-de-Calais on 1 October 1915. He is remembered on the war memorial at Saint-Victor-l’Abbaye.
