Guy Cury was an intermediate hurdler who competed at the 1956 Olympics. He was a three-time French Champion, winning in 1953, 1955, and 1956. Cury won a gold medal in the 400 hurdles at the 1955 Mediterranean Games. In 1954 he finished fourth in the 400 hurdles at the European Championships. He married and had three children, settling in the small village of Aleyrac.
