Biography

Armand Estang competed in different jumping events at the French Championships. In 1907, he placed third in the pole vault and in 1911 third in the standing high jump. He claimed his only title in 1914, winning the championship in the standing long jump. His last top six finish came in 1919, when he was fifth in the high jump. He participated in the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm but was eliminated in the high jump qualifications without a mark. His best ever position in the world rankings was an eighth place in the high jump in 1919.
