Biography

Christopher Vose was a member of five winning England teams in the International Cross-Country championships (1911-13, 1920-21), with a best individual placing of second in 1920. In the National he was second in 1913 and third three times (1911, 1920-21). In the 1920 Olympic cross-country team race, he was the fourth Briton home (19th) so was not a scoring member of the team that won silver medals. Unlike many of his cross-country contemporaries, he did not excel on the track.
