Biography

Charles Williams won his blue in 1908 when he placed third in the long jump against Oxford. He did not qualify for the Olympic final in 1908 and in 1913 he won the Northern Counties title. His father was a vicar in Ramsgate and Charles Williams was educated locally before going up to Cambridge, after which he followed his father into the Ministry.

Personal Bests: LJ – 6.65 (21-10) (1908).
