Abdul Karim Salman was an Iraqi football defender who played for Al-Talaba SC and Al-Rasheed SC in Baghdad. From 1988 to 1993 Salman also played for the Iraq national football team and was named in their squad for the tournament at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. After his playing career he worked as a coach with his former club Al-Talaba, as well as stints as the assistant coach to the national team. Salman was 55-years-old when he died after contracting the coronavirus in December 2020.
