Brunhilde Hendrix, daughter of German Olympians Marie Dollinger and Fritz Hendrix was married in May 1964 to Peter Ramsauer who was the local chief editor of the boulevard paper BILD at Nuremberg. She won the silver medal with the mixed German sprint relay in 1960 together with Martha Langbein, Anni Biechl and Jutta Heine close behind the winning US team. In the 100 Hendrix was eliminated in the semifinals. In 1957 she was German Champion with the relay and in the 100, and in 1960 in the 200. In 1960 she was awarded the Silver Bay Leaf. She was educated as a stenographer.
