Biography

Pietro Biagioli was a midfielder who played professional football from 1948-63 but had only a few matches in Serie A, playing with ACF Fiorentina from 1948-50, 1952/53, with AC Torino in the 1953/54 season, and Padova in the 1956/57 season. In Serie B he played 190 matches, scoring 68 goals, for clubs such as US Piombino, Marzotto and Taranto. Biagioli later was a trainer for the Fiorentina youth teams at the end of the 1960s, and was an assistant head coach of Fiorentina’s senior team in the 1978/79 season. Biagioli was a substitute at the 1952 Olympics, and never earned an international cap.
