Biography

Árpád Hajós played with Törekvés between 1921 and 1924, and in 1923 he played twice with the national team. He was on the Hungarian squad for the 1924 Paris Olympics, but did not play. In the 1924/25 season Hajós played for Makkabi Brno and later in 1925 moved to Italy, where he played for several teams, including Calcio Reggiana, Calcio Bolgona, and AC Milan.

Hajós came back to Hungary for a short time in 1927, where he first played for Attila Miskolc and Sabaria in Szombathely, before retiring from active football in 1929. He returned to Italy that year and became the trainer for US Pistoiese. Hajós worked as a coach until 1948, also working for teams such as AC Milan and Internazionale.
