Between September 1928 and October 1929 football player Franz Horn earned three international caps for the German national team, with his team winning all three games: 2-1 against Denmark, 4-0 versus Finland, and 3-0 against Sweden. The striker began his career at Schwarz-Weiß Essen, before moving to Hamburger SV in 1926. In 1928 he won a German Championship with Hamburg against Hertha BSC. Horn later became a businessman, dealing with wine and spirituals.
