Ferenc Kropacsek began his football career in 1914 with Rákosmenti FC, but was the goalkeeper for MTK between 1917-26. With them he won seven League titles, and the Hungarian Cup twice. Kropacsek twice played for the national team in 1924 but, despite being a member of the Paris Olympic squad, did not play. He finished his playing career in 1926.
By profession, Kropacsek worked as a bank official, and in 1929 changed his name to Keveházi. During World War II, he became the commander of a labour camp on the Russian front. After returning home, Kropacsek/Keveházi was reportedly tortured. He was finally released and declared completely innocent by the People’s Court. He later worked in a bakery, and then in a Ganz Factory, before retiring in 1957.
