Biography

Marius Lund played for Odd Grenland in Skien as a defensive midfielder. With his club he was a losing finalist in three consecutive cup championship finals (1908-10). At the 1912 Olympic Games, he was an unused substitute and never represented Norway internationally.

Lund first worked as a clerk in a colonial grocery store in Skien. In 1916 he moved to Kristiania (now Oslo) and became a manager and wholesaler of machinery. During the German occupation in World War II he was briefly put in Åkebergveien prison, part of which was used by the Germans for political prisoners and detainees.
