Biography

In 1969 middle-distance runner Gerda Ranz was nominated for the 1969 European Championships but due to the West German boycott could not start. She started at the 1971 European Championships and the 1972 München Games over 1,500, but with little success. Domestically Ranz won 1,500 titles in 1968 and 1969.

Personal Best: 1500 – 4:18.5 (1972).
