Elie Onana was a midfielder who was on the Cameroon team at the 1984 Olympics, although he did not play in the tournament. Onana played professionally in Cameroon, playing for Tonnerre from 1978-88. He also played in the 1982 FIFA World Cup, and at the 1981 FIFA U-20 World Cup. His brother, Jules Onana, also was a football international for Cameroon.
