Biography

Eduard Braesecke was runner-up in the 1932 German Championships, placed fifth a year later and third in 1936, which was his qualification for the Olympic Games in Berlin. He then placed 29th in the Olympic marathon race. In 1935 he set a German record over 2 hours, running 32.704 kilometres.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-41:02 (1934).
