Wulf Brunner was a discus thrower who was eliminated in the qualification round at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. His best placing at the German Championships was fourth place on three occasions – 1986, 1988 and 1989. He later became a physician who ran a center for back muscle training and health care near Munich.
