Biography
In his only international tournament 800 metre runner Jörg Haas was eliminated in the heats of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. He won the German Championship that year and later became base and discipline coach within the Baden-Württemberg Athletics Federation, and endurance coach in the Baden Athletics Association. He was employed as a teacher for Sports and Chemistry at Offenburg. In 2013 Haas published the textbook Ausdauernd laufen in Schule und Verein (Perseverance in Running in Schools and Clubs).
