Biography
Hans Steinhardt won the 1927-28 German Championships in the 110 hurdles, which allowed him to be nominated for the 1928 Amsterdam Games, where he was eliminated in the second round. The same year Steinhardt set three indoor world records over 55, 60 and 110 metres. His brother Otto Steinhardt was also a track and field athlete, competing in the 100, 200, long jump, triple jump and javelin throw.
